What a holiday !

My friend Marielle and I are just back from Los Angeles... 3 weeks of sun and blue skies!
A wonderful journey full of nice surprises and also full of nice nice and friendly people we met over there It was the first time for me in L.A. and I don't regret this trip at all! Not a single minute of it! A dream came true!

Pete Conway

Unfortunately we did not had the chance to meet Rob during our journey but we had the chance to meet his Dad and Josy Pete is in L.A. for the time being and we met him just the day before our way back to Europe.
We were leaving IE west by car when we saw Rob's Range Rover passing by (we know his license plate... :-) ) You cannot imaging how excited we were when we saw Pete going out of the car.
We managed to discuss a few moments with him.
He kindly accepted to take some pictures together He asked us where we went during our stay and if we had a nice trip.

Back home

Back to Brussels, many people wrote to me to ask if I managed to get some news about Rob from his father, if I asked him questions about his son.
I perfectly understand that. Myself I would love to know a little bit more but honestly I did not dare to do it. it was not the right time. I was so happy to see Pete that I did not took the risk to shorten our nice chat on the side walk by asking only questions about Rob I sincerely think that the best attitude to have, when meeting persons close to Rob, to get a nice moment is not to ask questions about Rob...
even if you are dying to do so.
Pete was certainly not there to brief us about Rob's agenda. It was more appropriate to keep our questions for us and enjoy the moment.
This is what my friend Marielle and myself did

We just said to Pete that we could not see Rob during our stay.
Pete, with a little smile, just told us that Rob was very busy for the moment but nothing else.

Absolutely charming!

He was very charming, smiling and talking a lot and, ho dear!, you cannot miss that Pete is Rob's dad!
You can see Rob just by looking to Pete's face! The apple never falls far from the tree...

He tried to talk a little bit with us in French... Nice try Pete!
But we understood his English very well. He has such a nice and soft voice...

When we met him we shake hands but when we left him we had a nice big hug and a big kiss!
His last words to us were "It was nice to meet you too...take care, have a good and safe fly...bye bye!" I can still ear them...

What a lovely memory!
I look at the picture we took that day together and I hope to meet him again... maybe during my next stay in L.A. and who knows... this time Rob will be there too that day!
