Delfini

Delfini

The Haverhill-based five piece have added a second guitarist to their ranks of their keyboards-driven rock. Their debut album "Take It Or Leave It" is available via their website.

Alistair Mackie - guitar and vocals
Chris Bradford - bass and backing vocals
Steve Moore - drums, piano and vocals
Will Welch - piano
Rob Andrews - guitar

The band started out as a three-piece called Green Eyed Monster, but turned into 4-piece Delfini in 2003 - inspired by a name on the side of a toaster.Ìý A good job they didn't have a Smeg fridge?Ìý

"Melodic rock with soaring vocals which avoids verse-chorus-verse. Keyboard-sound is more Supertramp rather than, say, Van Der Graaf Generator. "

Mini Review

Rob Andrews then joined to form the 5-a-side version which has produce the album.Ìý You can hear two songs from it on this page - "Second Chance" and "Another Day" (not the Roy Harper/This Mortal Coil song) as well as the older epic "Nobody's Gonna Walk All Over Me."
