Nicholls is back!

Kevin Nicholls' return to Kenilworth Road lifted everyone concerned with Luton Town. He spoke to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Three Counties Simon Oxley ahead of the new season.

Returning Luton skipper Kevin Nicholls says he is excited about the challenge of keeping the Hatters in the Football League.

Nicholls is back at Kenilworth Road after two seasons away, but says he had no hesitation in joining up again with Mick Harford.

Ahead of the new League Two season, Nicholls spoke with Simon Oxley and told him how much he was looking forward to it:

"I'm delighted to be back here" he said.

"It's a tough challenge. It's a big task ahead for us but I'm really looking forward to it."

Many people may ask why he has returned, and some might even suggest that he is mad, but Nicholls said that those who know him know his reasons.

"They know my character" he said.

"They know how much I enjoyed myself in the six years I was here and how much the club means to me."
