My wife and I lived at 3 Goddard Ave., Old Town. Attended services at Christ Church. Back then 1959-60 all services were sung. We are Episcopalians from Maryland.

It is very refreshing to see that the church is doing something to preserve one of Swindon's oldest buildings. It is a pity that our council do not follow suit instead of letting them fall into disrepair ie. Mechanics Institute, Locarno and Townsends old building in Cricklade Street. Well done the "Skyline Appeal"
