The Central African Republic is facing renewed fighting in the troubled north eastern part of the country despite a peace deal being signed between François Bozize and various rebel groups.
In early February over 20 civilians were reportedly killed by government troops in the Ndele region near the CAR's border with Chad, an area where a new rebel group recently emerged.
Now there are reports that human rights abuses are being committed by both the national army and rebels.
