Mike Walker has written vast numbers of plays and serials for radio including a ten-hour adaptation of Tolstoy's War and Peace, which won a "Talkie" Award for Best Drama in 1998.
He has written for the أغر؟´«أ½ World Service "soap" Westway since it began in 1997.
He's particularly interested in political drama and has written radio plays about J Edgar Hoover, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon.
Mike teaches creative writing at Morley College in London and has recently published a novel called Takeover.
