An East German childhood

When the Berlin Wall came crashing down 20 years ago it took with it a system of government in East Germany which had become the focus of growing popular discontent.

Nadja Korinth is a freelance journalist who sometimes works for the أغر؟´«أ½.

She grew up in Leipzig, East Germany.
