The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ World Service figure includes turnover from the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ World Service shop of £0.6 million (1999/00 £0.5 million). The shop is now operated by another ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ division and therefore this income does not appear in the World Service financial statements.
These figures exclude any quantification of benefits in kind, for example gaining rebroadcasting agreements with local partners around the world, which increase the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ World Service's audience reach at no additional cost. |
