"We鈥檙e proud to introduce the 蜜芽传媒 Writers鈥 Voices of 2025. Our Voices make up a talented cohort of 70 emerging writers working with the 蜜芽传媒 Writers team out of our six UK-wide hubs. The writers have spent the past six months immersed in an intensive programme designed to elevate their craft and connect them with the industry.

From January to June, the Voices writers engaged in workshops, masterclasses with acclaimed writers like (), (Virdee), (The Responder) and (Boarders), and gained valuable insights from agents, producers, 蜜芽传媒 Drama Commissioning, Climate Spring, and the Writers鈥 Guild of Great Britain.

Throughout the programme, each writer developed a brand-new series idea to outline stage, supported editorially by the 蜜芽传媒 Writers team. The energy, originality, and ambition they鈥檝e brought to their work has been nothing short of inspiring.

It鈥檚 been a privilege to collaborate with these future series creators. We can鈥檛 wait to see where their stories go next, and we鈥檙e delighted to introduce them to you here. Please do take a moment to dive into their bios and get to know these exciting new Voices."

"The 蜜芽传媒 Writers Voices South group has recently concluded an intensive and rewarding six-month development programme. Comprising writers from across the Southeast and Southwest of England, this cohort has demonstrated exceptional creativity, discipline, and commitment throughout the process. It has been genuinely inspiring to witness each participant evolve and refine their unique creative voice.

Over the course of the programme, each writer 鈥 or writing partnership 鈥 has developed a distinctive and commercially viable television drama series outline. These projects reflect not only originality and narrative ambition but also a sophisticated understanding of the television landscape and its demands.

In parallel with their creative development, the writers have engaged in a comprehensive programme of professional training. Through a series of masterclasses and workshops led by seasoned industry practitioners, they have gained valuable insights into both the craft and business of screenwriting. These sessions have enabled them to sharpen their storytelling skills and deepen their awareness of the industry鈥檚 expectations and opportunities.

The resulting body of work spans a broad range of genres, themes, and tones; yet each project is unified by a strong authorial perspective and a clear sense of purpose. This cohort represents a dynamic new generation of screenwriting talent, poised to make a meaningful contribution to the future of UK television drama.

We鈥檇 like to thank the writers for their professionalism, dedication, and creative ambition. We look forward to following their continued growth and success within the industry."

Ajay Sisodiya
Ajay Sisodiya

Ajay Sisodiya

Ajay loves life. And life is stories. And stories are his Plan A. The Euromillions is his Plan B 鈥 he can really, really feel he鈥檚 winning it this year. Ajay writes bold, character-driven stories with sharp hooks - whether it鈥檚 crime, horror, romance, sci-fi or something unclassifiably in-between. He鈥檚 drawn to writing stories that sneak in through the genre window but sit you down for something true.

From Milton Keynes, he鈥檚 worked in scripted and unscripted TV development after graduating with a law degree and realising, quite swiftly, that law is a bit long tbh. Years of trying to invent Britain鈥檚 next hit quiz show format has done wonders for his story brain - honing his instinct for idea generation, tension, structure, and those all-important moments of triumph (he鈥檚 emotionally won at least 73 imaginary jackpots).

He鈥檚 writing up more drama, and living just enough of it to stay inspired. He hopes to find an agent who loves big-hearted, punchy stories as much as he does. If writing doesn鈥檛 work out, his mum will proudly retrieve his law degree from the bin and reintroduce him to 鈥淯ncle Rajesh who runs the firm鈥. Ajay loves life. And life is stories. And stories are all he wants to tell.

Since 2023, Ollie has focused exclusively on screenwriting, with two scripts optioned and a third in development. This transition draws naturally on his gift for finding extraordinary stories in ordinary lives.
