Actwrite is seeking London-based screenwriters to join a new project connecting them with professional and trained actors to workshop scripts through in-person table reads.
For writers, this is a chance to bring their pilot or series outline into the room, hear their work performed, explore how their dialogue plays out among actors and build confidence in their writing ability ahead of submissions of their work to writing programmes, agents or production companies.
This isn鈥檛 about formal script feedback; it鈥檚 about bringing writers and actors together to collaborate, explore, play and for both parties to develop their craft through regular in-person workshops and table reads.
Entry Criteria:
- Contemporary TV drama writers working towards completing a pilot with a detailed series outline
- Preparing work for writing programmes, competitions, or industry opportunities
- London-based, 21+
