This month’s Radio Ulster Appeal is made on behalf of Rosie’s Trust, which supports people who are going through cancer treatment, receiving end of life care, or older with mobility issues, by helping them care for their companion pets. The charity ensures that individuals who are struggling to continue to look after their pets can keep their best ‘pet’ friend at home with them for as long as possible, by providing practical help with tasks like dog walking, feeding, vet visits, and grooming, thanks to a network of 200+ dedicated volunteers.
