"A day job at AA Roadwatch paid the bills while Helen persuaded Radio York to let her loose with a microphone"

Helen was obsessed with radio from an early age but she began her broadcasting career eleven years ago when she convinced ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio York's Sports Editor to take her on, despite her own admission that she wasn't overly sporty!
A day job at AA Roadwatch paid the bills while Helen persuaded Radio York to let her loose with a microphone and she soon became a regular weekender...
After a stint at Radio Leeds Helen was tempted by the world of telly and eventually left the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ to work for the opposition as a Continuity Announcer for ITV.
Now back in the arms of Auntie Beeb she’s thoroughly enjoying being back on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½7 and immersing herself in the features, books and sci-fi every weeknight. In her next life Helen’s planning to come back as a Space Cadet (some might say she’s half-way there already) so where better to spend every evening, than in the 7th Dimension?
