Approval of series-stacking for radio
The Trust has approved 'series stacking' for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ radio on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer, following a six-month trial by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Executive.
The decision means that users of ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ iPlayer will be able to listen to some radio programme series on-demand for up to seven days after the broadcast of the last episode in the series. No more than 15% of on-demand radio content will be 'stacked'.
Series stacking for radio was proposed to the Trust by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Executive. The Trust has assessed the impact, financial implications, novelty and duration of the proposal and has concluded that it does not contribute a significant change to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ services. The Trust has also concluded that the proposed radio series stacking fits with the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s overall strategy.
