My speculation about the sudden increase in the size of the cuts facing Cornwall Council was wrong - the jump from £3.8 million to £13.668 million appears to have taken place before officials realised what was happening with education. On Friday chief exec Kevin Lavery sent his , detailing what he then knew. on education spending will be in addition to these cuts.
