Congratulations to the County Hall press office for being shortlisted in the "crisis communications" category at the , for its handling of last year's floods. A posh dinner at the the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster, beckons on 1st June. £195 + VAT per person.
As I have blogged previously, the media industry has more than its share of awards dinners and I for one would not criticise the council if it sent an appropriate number of deserving representatives. Here's the shortlist:
