After months of lobbying from family, friends and animal loving listeners...I've finally given in!
I've never been a big fan of dogs wearing coats but the coldest winter for over a hundred years has tipped me over the edge.
Skinny lurchers don't have a lot of fat on them and my shivering Stella did look rather pathetic on our evening stroll.
Any pictures of butch dogs wearing coats might make me feel better. cummings@bbc.co.uk
