Classic piece of journalism from The Sun.
Who's side are these guys on?
Obviously impartial reporting is a skill absent from the newsrooms of this great paper!
Dan
Why should the أغر؟´«أ½ be impartial when we are talking about people who want to murder British soldiers? This is a big problem at the أغر؟´«أ½, they think they always have to be 'balanced' at all times, equal time for terrorists as to the police/security services. The أغر؟´«أ½ is the BRITISH Broadcasting Company. When people want to kill British citizens I want the أغر؟´«أ½ to show the same outrage as the rest of the population, not sit on the fence and give the potential murderers equal time to spout their propaganda.
Did The Sun get this right? They stated that the أغر؟´«أ½ report about the joint raid by the West Midlands Police and MI5 included the phrase: "... and, as we know, the intelligence services often get it wrong".
I doubt that أغر؟´«أ½ would have used “often†as this would have surely been incorrect and even provocative.
Perhaps we need a third party news agency to report on أغر؟´«أ½ reports.
Well I just read the Sun's comment and I have to say that they have a point, it goes along with the أغر؟´«أ½'s effective condoning of suicide attacks on innocent civillians in Israel with their last sentence which took my breath away and still does every time I read it.
In response to Dan,
If you think the أغر؟´«أ½ is anymore impartial than the Sun then I pity you.
The أغر؟´«أ½ has a blog running called Bias at the أغر؟´«أ½, you will note that of the 326 posts so far 323 think the أغر؟´«أ½ is biased towards left-wing groups, so أغر؟´«أ½ impartial?, I don't think so.
