1952-2002 - Fifty years in Bristol

To mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee, the 蜜芽传媒 is putting on a musical extravaganza at the Colston Hall - and we need your help to write it!

We're looking for memories and memorabilia covering the whole of the last half-century to illustrate what Bristol has experienced and how the city has changed in that time.

l Do you remember the ss Great Britain being tugged into the docks?
l Did you have a Douglas motorbike?
l Were you there when the Beatles were flour-bombed at the Colston Hall?
l Did you work in the Bristol Docks before they closed?
l Were you there for the first flight of Concorde?
l Did you see Salad Days, the hit musical made in Bristol?
l Have you followed the fortunes of City and Rovers?
l Have you pictures or memories of the changes in the city centre?

Thousands of Jubilee street parties were held in 1977

And on the royal front...

Perhaps you have photographs of the Queen's coronation lurking in the loft?

Maybe you took cine film of a street party to mark her Silver Jubilee in 1977?

What about those royal mugs, trays and commemorative coins we treasured and then stuck in a drawer?

We need you to tell us about how and why you got them and what they meant to you.

Your memories, photographs and video footage will be compiled into the production Jubilation, which will be staged during Jubilee weekend on 1st and 2nd June at the Colston Hall..

l Tell the Jubilation team about video or film footage you have that can be used for the musical (Phone (0117) 9467467 or email bristol@bbc.co.uk)

To get tickets to see Jubilation:

Tickets for Jubilation at the Colston Hall on 1st and 2nd June cost £6 for children and £8/£10 for adults.
