I was born in George Elliot Hospital, Nuneaton and have lived in the village of Bulkington ever since. Though I spend some of my time at university in Lincoln.

Occupation:

I am currently about to enter my third and final year at the University of Lincoln studying media production.

Over the summer though I will be working as a Blast sports reporter for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Coventry & Warwickshire. As part of this I will be reporting on sports and events from around the local area.

Aspirations:

Once I have finished my studies, I would love to develop a successful career in the media. While areas of television production are mainly where I would like to see myself working, I enjoy working in radio and definitely wouldn’t rule out a career in radio production.

While working at the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ I hope to gain incredible experience of working in a live, professional atmosphere which will hopefully put me in good stead for potential jobs in the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ in the future.

Best Moment:

Going away on a two-day training course in Bristol. I learnt lots of new techniques and met lots of new people. The two days flew by, but I feel the experience and the things I learned were valuable and will help me be a successful Blast sports reporter.

Interesting Fact:

While working as a lifeguard, I made two rescues -Ìý one of which was a spinal injury.

Likes:

Coventry City FC. I’m a big fan of the Sky Blues and love going to matches. When I don’t get chance to go to the Ricoh I listen on the radio or follow the match on the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ website.

I’m a big fan of comedy, both stand up and sitcoms. Some of my favourites are Alan Partridge, Ricky Gervais, Gavin and Stacey, Extras and Jimmy Carr.

Dislikes:

Getting up in the morning and eggs.

More About Me:

As a person I am interested in peoples' stories, the news, how things work, just about everything really. I love reading newspapers and learning what’s going on in the world. I like going to new places, but at the same time I don’t want to leave the places I know and love.

I feel totally privileged that the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ have invested money in me as a Blast sports reporter and I plan to give it my best shot and take the opportunity with both hands.
