We are overjoyed to welcome back to the 蜜芽传媒 Philharmonic the award-winning cellist Leonard Elschenbroich. Who better to deliver Haydn鈥檚 Cello Concerto in D, an enigmatic but graceful conversation between orchestra and cello?

Completing the programme will be Mendelssohn鈥檚 Fourth Symphony 鈥� in his own words, 鈥渢he jolliest piece I have ever done鈥�. Also known as The Italian, it was penned during Mendelssohn鈥檚 鈥榞rand tour鈥� through Southern Europe at the age of 20.

Today鈥檚 session will be in the youthful hands of Lorenzo Viotti, winner of the 2013 Cadaques International Conducting Competition.
