Concert Information
Join the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Symphony Orchestra at the iconic Maida Vale Studios for a wonderful programme of French-themed music. Francophile conductor Pascal Rophé opens the concert with two pieces by Berlioz, with La captive featuring mezzo-soprano Marta Fontanals-Simmons. Liszt’s orchestral tour-de-force follows, and the evening ends with Dutilleux’s musical reaction to Van Gogh’s famous painting The Starry Night.
This concert will be recorded for future broadcast on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 3.
Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make sure we have a full house we send out more tickets than there are places. We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people so please arrive early.
