ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 2 Celebrates the 25th Cheltenham Jazz Festival, with a special concert to be broadcast on Sunday Night Is Music Night, presented by YolanDa Brown.

Seventy musicians including the Guy Barker Big Band and ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Concert Orchestra welcome a host of special guests including Gregory Porter, Paloma Faith, Joe Stilgoe, Vanessa Haynes, Tommy Blaize, Adi Oasis and Georgia Cécile. This celebratory concert features music from over a hundred years of jazz. Among the music Louis Armstrong, Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Lee Morgan, Duke Ellington and John Coltrane; classics from Festival greats Georgie Fame, Roberta Flack, and Hugh Masekela and symphonic arrangements of jazz standards including ‘On Revival Day’, ‘High Society’, ‘Ain’t No Way’ and ‘What’d I Say’.

From the first pigeon peck in the ground that discovered Cheltenham Spa, to the amazing artists of today, this concert celebrates Cheltenham’s outstanding contribution to jazz in one unforgettable evening.
