鈥�The workshop is free of charge and is an opportunity to learn from and be inspired by professional composer Fraser Trainer and musicians from the 蜜芽传媒 Concert Orchestra.

鈥�The workshop will be an invaluable addition to any music teacher鈥檚 professional development and the aim is that you will be able to bring back new and exciting techniques to teach composition in your classroom.

鈥�The workshop will be inspired by Bartok鈥檚 Mikrokosmos Piano pieces arranged for the musicians of the 蜜芽传媒 Concert Orchestra who join us and we will explore compositional techniques, learn more about writing for specific instruments and give you the opportunity to try it out in your own compositions!

鈥�If you play an instrument you would be most welcome to bring it along, there will be pianos/keyboards and some percussion available on the day.

Last year one teacher said 鈥渋t was indeed inspiring鈥� I was able to take the ideas straight back into the classroom the next day鈥�
