Knockout Week continues with the second group of eight amateur chefs put to the test. First, they must cook a dish for John and Gregg that they would have on the menu of their own restaurant or feature in a cookbook. After this challenge, three of them will be going home. The remaining five then head to Manchester to work in the flagship restaurant of 2015 MasterChef champion Simon Wood. The five contestants will be responsible for serving up every dish on the menu to paying customers during a packed lunch service.

Only the best cooks will make it through to the final challenge in Knockout Week and have the chance to become a semi-finalist.
