Well,
police in Cirencester are concerned at the increased number of 'spiking'
incidents and are getting all high tech in an attempt to reduce
the problem.
In
conjunction with Cirencester pub and club owners, officers will
use state of the art drug detection equipment to trace anyone who
has come into contact with illegal substances.
The
aim of the operation is to tackle the dangers of general drug use
but also to address increased concerns over the use of 'date rape'
drugs.

"Pubs
and clubs are generally safe and popular places to go and we intend
to ensure that they stay that way.
"We
just want to stop drug users and drug dealers from ruining a good
night out."
