It’s
Never Too Late To Learn is an opportunity for you to participate
in learning in a fun environment.
The
sessions are designed to be both fun and informative, promoting
learning as an enjoyable activity.
Information
on further learning opportunities will also be available at the
event at GL1 Gloucester Leisure Centre.
The
event is being organised by the ACET (Adult Continuing Education
and Training) Gloucester Consortium, the CSV Action Desk at ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½
Radio Gloucestershire and the Living & Learning Centre at GL1.
It’s

Sunday May 18 from 10am to 4pm - so go on, give it a go!

Never Too Late To Learn… about learning in your local area Location: Outside the Living & Learning Centre and in the
Function Bar Time: 10am-4pm Details: A wide range of organisations will be attending
the event with information on local learning opportunities, ranging
from the more traditional education through to more diverse learning.

Never Too Late To Learn… to Tango Location: Horizons Exercise
Studio Time: 2pm-3pm Details: Argentinean Tango lets dancers express any emotion
that they feel. It can be slow or fast, complex or simple.
Once you have mastered the basics, you really can do whatever you
want - it is very improvisational and creative.
If you’ve always fancied having a go, this is your chance! No experience
required! Unfortunately outdoor shoes are not permitted in the studio
so bring your trainers.

Never Too Late To Learn… to Salsa Location: Horizons Exercise
Studio Time: 3.00-4.00pm Details: Salsa is highly sociable, healthy, cultural and
above all fun. Thomas
Melendez from Salsa del Sol will guide you through the basic steps
of salsa and then show you how to dance with a partner. For
all ages and abilities, no previous experience is necessary. So
come on your own, with a partner, family or friends, just bring
enthusiasm and a sense of fun! Outdoor
shoes are not permitted in the studio so bring your trainers.
It’s
Never Too Late To Learn… about a different culture Location: Function Room Time: 3.30-4.00pm Details: Bring the whole family for storytelling by an African
storyteller, followed by an African dance performance.
