To make daily
Wash
a collection of fresh herbs to include, marjoram or oregano,
lemon balm, mint and parsley, a few fresh lemon slices and
water
Stir
all together in a jug and store in a refrigerator.
Strain
to serve throughout the day. Lazy Cook
Lazy
Cook tips - this is best made with herbs picked on
the stalk, fresh from the garden. Drink it throughout the
day, it is most refreshing.
Make
a jug of extra strong coffee using grounds or granules and
when cold put it into a refrigerator to chill.

Serve
straight from the refrigerator topped with full cream milk
or cream - single or whipped.
Lazy
Cook tips - the coffee must be made extra strong, I
make it with freshly ground beans topped up with boiling water
and stirred well. Iced Coffee is refreshing and delicious
served on a hot day.
To

lemons
3 tbls. granulated sugar
1 lt. (1¾pts) boiling water
Sprigs of mint
Ice
Wash
and scrub three of the lemons before cutting into pieces.
Put
into a large bowl, add the sugar and pour on the boiling water,
stir and leave for 20-30mins.
Strain
into a jug and when cold store, covered, in a refrigerator.
Just
before serving stir in several small sprigs of fresh mint,
several slices of lemon and ice.

serves approx. 20 x 300ml ½pt tumblers

ltr bottle Pimm's No. 1
300ml (½ pt) dry ginger ale
2 ltrs lemonade
Cucumber slices
Orange slices
Strawberries
Sprigs of mint
Lemon balm
Ice
Mix
all together and serve.
Serves approx. 12 wine glasses

Tuck
into a cocktail |
1
bottle sparkling wine 50ml.
(2ozs) grand marnier 50ml.
(2ozs) brandy 600ml.
(1pt) lemonade peach and nectarine slices
Ice
Mix
all the ingredients together and serve.

approx. 24 wine glasses
3 bottles dry white wine
¼ bottle of cognac or brandy
9 tbls. benedictine (or orange curaçao or crème de menthe)
1 tin (454gms)
Pineapple pieces
1 ltr (1¾ pts) fizzy lemonade
Ice
Mix
all together and serve.
