D-Day 65 on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent

ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent will bring you the key events, memories and emotions as the 65th anniversary of D-Day is commemorated both here and in northern France.

In June 1944 thousands of Allied forces left the South Coast of England to begin theÌý liberation of Nazi-occupied Europe.Ìý

Sixty five years on, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent will bring you the events and atmosphere as the world remembers the achievement and sacrifice of one of the biggest military campaigns ever mounted.

Reporter Jo Palmer will be travelling with a group of D-Day veterans from the New Forest as they make their emotional return to northern France to mark the anniversary and remember fallen colleagues.
