Marsh's parents, John and Mary-Anne (Sissy) Pritchard took in evacuees during the war. Their names were Henry O’Hara, Joseph Pollard, and Thomas Sharps.
They loved being on the farm. It was a complete change for them, in fact, when they first arrived they didn't know that milk came from cows. They couldn't believe it! They just thought it came "out of a bottle"!
