Two of the evacuees with Marsh's parents on the farm in Withington.

Marsh lived in Withington, and his parents, John and Sissy Pritchard took in evacuees at the beginning of the war. They had three boys from Liverpool.

The evacuees names were Henry O’Hara, Joseph Pollard, and Thomas Sharps.
