I am wrighting about my mother who was in WAAF. And was trained on barrage balloons then was posted to Sheffield near a grave yard on balloons she was the winch driver her name was AMY WELLS and she came from MALDON in ESSEX.I have a very bad group piture when she was training.I also have single piture of her. My Mother has now past a way.But it would be nice to hear from any one who remebers her.As she sometimes talked about experience with balloon on windy nights. And earness of the grave yard.
