Here
is a selection of the food venues that are giving Chapel Allerton
the reputation of a foodie destination.
Stainbeck
Lane
Perhaps the fastest growing reputation goes to Casa Mia who have
two properties in the area.
 |
Casa
Mia |
The
Italian style cooking and ambience are making it the places to be
seen. Recently Casa Mia was awarded the highest A** rating in a
national restaurant guide.
The
coffee shop is part deli/cafe and expands onto the pavement in Stainbeck
Lane.
 |
Head
for the Border |
On
the same parade is Head for the Border, for that American experience.
You
certainly can't miss the decor. The tables outside, just along from
Casa Mia, make this bit of pavement Chapel Allerton's piazza.
 |
Cafe
Guru |
Cafe
Guru is possibly the chicest Indian restaraunt you will have seen.
Not a sign of any flock wallpaper, just crisp white linen, bare
wood and plate glass. Oh and Indian food.
Ìý
Harrogate
Road
Restaurants scattered along Harrogate Road, through the centre of
the area, include Italians, Mamma Mia, Mexicans, Salsa Mexicana
and traditional fish and chips, Nash's, along with the Casa Mia
Grande.
 |
The
Last Viceroy |
Further
down Harrogate Road is The Last Viceroy. A well-established Indian
that has recently entered the market for the all-you-can-eat buffet.
