A lifetime forsaken,
chances untaken.
A heart to bestow,
yet can’t let go.
A wish and desire,
fall to the pyre.
A commitment much sought,
fails to be bought.
An ending looming,
no flowers blooming.
A reflection ignored
brings death to the bored.
