General conditions about submitting pictures to YP&M:

• The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ retains the right to choose and arrange work submitted, and to remove work from the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ website at its sole discretion.
  
  
• You agree to only submit materials to which you have the copyright. You may not violate, plagiarise, or infringe on the rights of third parties including copyright, trademark, trade secret, personal privacy, publicity or proprietary rights.
  
  
• You may not submit any unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive, or otherwise objectionable material.
  
  
• The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ retains the right to reject work on the grounds of illegality, copyright infringement and violating public taste and decency.
  
  
• The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ is under no obligation to publish the work submitted.
  
  
• The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ will need your full name, address and contact details for the purposes of our register of copyright ownership. These details will not be passed on to any third party.
  
  
• The material you submit may be stored in the archives of the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½.
  
  
• The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ accepts no responsibility in connection with any work you submit to a third party (i.e. not the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½)
  
  
• We regret that we are unable to link from your work to any external sites.
  
  
• Rights:
  
  
• By submitting your work to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ website you -
  
  
• Warrant that it is your own original work and that you have the right to make it available to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ for use in all media worldwide in perpetuity and to make it available to the organisations assisting with the Community Photo Album project for display, interactive access publicity purposes and archive retention
  
  
• Indemnify the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred by them as a result of your breach of the above warranty.
  
  
• Grant the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ the right in perpetuity to display the work on its website located at http://www.bbc.co.uk, which can be viewed internationally, and to store it on its servers and in its archive and to use in all media worldwide.
• Agree to waive your moral rights in the work for the purposes of its submission to and use by the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½.
  
  
• Agree that the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ shall not be responsible for any third party infringement of your rights in the work, moral or otherwise, which may result from its submission to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ website. (What this means is that you give the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ the rights to use and display this work worldwide, and where you have copied images or sounds off the net or elsewhere, you have permission to use this material. If these rights have not been obtained and the owners attempt to sue the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ for breach of copyright, you are responsible for all costs)
