This could be a very busy place if the network extends to its expected potential.

At its height in 1926 the network ran to some 26 miles, served by a fleet of 200 trams.

If possible extensions to Clifton and Chilwell go ahead then the NET tram route would run 20 miles with 30 modern vehicles.

  • Their average speed will be 23kmph / 14.3 mph.
  • Trams are 33 metres long, 3.35 metres high and 2.5 metres wide.
