Old Market Square's mural timeline

140ft mural in Nottingham's city centre

Nottingham artist Mat Hand embarked on his biggest project yet - a 140ft long mural depicting Nottingham's tram route.

Matt set himself a target of completing the project in 14 days.

He's been working on site, through wind and rain as well as the odd bit of sunshine, since the start of May.

The project is now complete and the mural will be visible in the Old Market Square for the next three to four months, depending on how the tramworks take in the city centre.
