The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ today
announced that Alan Shearer has signed a new three year deal for the
corporation. He has signed for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Sport as a football analyst and pundit.
Ìý
He will play for Newcastle United next year and so
will concentrate primarily on England matches for the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ during 2004/5.
Ìý
Niall Sloane, ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Head of Football, said: "Alan
Shearer will bring a wealth of Premier League and international experience
to our team.
Ìý
"We are thrilled he has agreed to join us. The
man is a legend."
