Will Millard - Biography

Will Millard is a writer and explorer. Before his TV work with the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ he lived in Indonesia as a teacher and led a number of expeditions within Indonesian West Papua and West Africa. Whilst in Papua he learnt to speak the local languages and studied inter-tribal trade, receiving awards and Fellowship from the Royal Geographical Society (2009,2013) and the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust (2012) for his work.

His first ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ series, ‘’ (2014) saw him living alongside Bajau spear fisherman, Lamaleran whale hunters, and the Kula shells hunters of the Trobriand Islanders. From his South Wales base he has also presented a number of documentaries for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Wales on British rivers and local Welsh history, before he spent a year making his latest series ‘’ with the remote Korowai people of New Guinea.
