Pick of the Classics 2025

With works from Sibelius, Mendelssohn, Ravel, Rachmaninov, Beethoven, Mahler and more, this Proms season is jam-packed full of classic composers and music. Hear them performed by some of the greatest orchestras in the world in a season that guarantees the ultimate concert experience.

Proms to enjoy with your family

The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Proms is a great place to introduce your family to classical music, with half-price tickets available for under-18s at every concert. The following Proms offer younger listeners a brilliant first-time experience. Programmes feature film-music staples and iconic classical favourites, and there are two CBeebies concerts designed specifically for children.

Something a Bit Different

This season offers a huge variety of styles and performers, from the hauntingly beautiful music of film composer Joe Hisaishi to the hypnotic power of multi-Grammy award-winning jazz singer Samara Joy. Grab your cloak and torch to join The Traitors for a whole lot of musical treachery or experience the distinct global blend of Arooj Aftab's South Asian melting pot of musical influences. It’s all here at the Proms!

International Orchestras

As well as showcasing the very best of UK orchestras, the Proms is a platform for global music-making. This season we invite an array of international ensembles hailing from Paris to Oslo to Melbourne. Make sure you catch this rare opportunity to hear some of the best names on the international stage.

Celebrating Voice

Sing joyfully! A fantastic array of stellar vocal works fill this year’s Proms programme, as a star-studded roster of performers lifts the roof off the Royal Albert Hall. Opera takes on a front-and-centre role this season, with concert stagings of Mozart’s timeless The Marriage of Figaro from Glyndebourne Festival Opera and Bartók's Duke Bluebeard’s Castle from the Budapest Festival Orchestra and an all-Hungarian cast. Elsewhere, hear Delius’s magnificent A Mass of Life, sprightly Baroque oratorio from Handel and indulgent mysticism from Ravel's Shéhérazade.

Late Night Proms

If you’re a musically adventurous night owl then our intimate and eclectic Late Night concerts might just be for you! Berio and Boulez’s works are brought to life by virtuosic, world-class soloists and the Ensemble intercontemporain in a Late Night concert of pure sonic theatre. The esteemed Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir journeys to the East in a choral celebration of Estonian Minimalist Arvo Pärt, who turns 90 this year, while mandolinist Avi Avital and his Between Worlds Ensemble embrace traditional Crimean Tatar music, Turkish folk and klezmer. A special all-night Prom curated by Anna Lapwood takes you from dark till dawn, and Nigerian sensation The Cavemen brings its distinctive brand of ‘highlife fusion’ to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Proms. You’re in for some unforgettable evenings this summer.

Across the UK

We’re excited to be returning to the Glasshouse International Centre for Music and the Bristol Beacon for two more weekend-long Proms festivals this season, which also include visits to Sunderland and St George’s Bristol. Bradford and Belfast will also be raising the Proms banner this summer for some more brilliant music-making across the UK.
