Eight young people go to extremes to help the planet, undertaking a marathon dog-sled journey in the Canadian High Arctic to help endangered polar bears. The polar bear research phase of the expedition is badly hit by an Arctic blizzard, leaving the team unable to leave their tent. The claustrophobic conditions lead to tension and tears, but an unexpected package from home provides a major morale boost.
