Eight young people go to extremes to help the planet, undertaking a marathon dog-sled journey in the Canadian High Arctic to help endangered polar bears. The adventurers fly by snow-plane onto a spectacular glacier, so remote that more people have walked on the moon. Their mission is to measure it to check on global warming, but appalling conditions and another Arctic blizzard leave them tent-bound and trapped on the glacier.
