World War II drama, set during the North African campaign, about a British colonel and his band of mercenaries who are given one last chance to prove themselves. Their mission is to stop Rommel's advancing troops by destroying their fuel supplies. But as the rag-bag crew advance behind German lines in North Africa, the squad's officers are as ready to attack each other as they are the enemy.
