With his parents Guy and Sarah away on a much-needed holiday in South Africa, it’s down to Tom to hold the fort as the cold weather sets in. And it sets in with a bang. The garden is struck by a sudden storm - will this ruin Tom’s chances of being nominated for a major tourism award?

Volunteers Jim and Sylvia set to work on a new plant sales area, while Tom decides on appropriate plants to sell – all of them deriving from exotic parts of the garden, and the world. Ever on the
lookout for money-saving opportunities Tom has a novel plan to landscape the garden for practically nothing.

Meanwhile, in Italy, Trevor’s on the hunt for a new house and, eager to sell his wing of the castle, he issues Tom with an ultimatum.
