Series which follows nine children in their quest for a cure for leukaemia, which used to kill nearly all its victims 50 years ago, but which now has an 80 per cent survival rate.

Andrew Stewart's case appears straightforward, while Charlotte has complications that make a dangerous bone marrow transplant her only chance for survival. With the odds against her, Charlotte enters an isolation room to receive bone marrow from a donor, while Andrew faces the prospect that he too might die at 15.
