Animated series based on the bestselling books by Susan Meddaugh. When Martha, a loveable, honest and kind dog, is accidentally fed alphabet soup, she gains the power of speech. Using her speaking abilities Martha gets jobs, foils bad guys, wins contests, runs for office and orders lots of pizza!
Martha is inspired by her favourite show, 'Courageous Collie Carlo'. Unfortunately, her attempts to become a doggie hero don't quite work out the way she plans. In the end, both Martha and Helen discover they can be courageous when it really matters.
