Annie Savoy is devoted to baseball and the players. Each season she selects a promising player on the Durham Bulls team to benefit from her experience. This year she finds her attention drawn between newcommer Eddy LaLoosh and veteran Crash Davis. It's going to be an eventful season - on and off the pitch.
