From the humble Boxkite to the supersonic Concorde, military historian Saul David celebrates 100 years of aircraft manufacture in the Bristol area. The Filton company, responsible for some of the world's most iconic aeroplanes, including the Beaufighter, the Brabazon and the giant A380, helped to win two World Wars and changed the way we get around forever.
The programme features a reconstruction of a dramatic dogfight in the skies over New Zealand and footage of an early Concorde test flight.
