Much of this programme is a tribute to lyricist Fran Landesman who died recently but we start with a little verbal dexterity from Allan Sherman and some thoughts on holidays, courtesy of Noel Coward, and via Elaine Stritch.

Peggy Lee's You Came a Long Way from St Louis serves to introduce Ms Landesman whose first professional work was there, collaborating with pianist Tommy Wolf. We hear their Ballad of the Sad Young Men sung by Davy Graham, Nothing Like You sung by Bob Dorough with Miles Davis, and Spring Can Really Hang You Up the Most from Barbra Streisand.

Tommy Wolf also worked with Fred Astaire and next up is Tony Bennett's version of their Life Is Beautiful. More Fran with Feet Do your Stuff comes via Susannah McCorkle, followed by further feet from The Ink Spots and The Pasadena Roof Orchestra. After one of Fran's Desert Island Disc choices, a Judy Collins disc, come two more Landesman songs, written in collaboration with Simon Wallace: Shepley Metcalf's It's Cool to Be Cool and Remind Me, sung by Sarah Moule.
