Blake recalls a Sunday ritual and the time his father wriggled out of a parking problem. Written and read by Blake Morrison.

Blake Morrison remembers reluctantly hosing his father's Mercedes when he was a teenager and how his dad told him he hoped he would follow in his footsteps and become a doctor. Years later, Blake wanders round the house which was his father's retirement project, whilst Arthur lies in a hospital bed.
