Katie Derham introduces a week of performances from the 蜜芽传媒 Scottish Symphony Orchestra, including some little heard gems as part of Afternoon on 3's British Music Season. There's room for some slightly better known works too as today Ryan Wigglesworth conducts the orchestra in Elgar's much loved Enigma Variations.
